Dolseok and I love to find new things to do in Korea. This is our date&travel-log. Hope this serves as a helpful guide to those staying or traveling in Korea as well.

Seoul Museum of Arts - Andy Warhol Exhibition

Dolseok dragged me all the way down to the City Hall to visit the Seoul Museum of Arts. For me, not a big art fan, it was the first time ever to go.

To get there from City Hall station, we got out from Exit 1 and strolled down the beautiful snow-white street along the wall of Deoksu-gung (royal palace).
It's a soothing neighborhood. Nearby are Embassies, Ihwa Girl's High School, Jeongdong Theater, Jeongdong Church, etc, and all of these low-rise old buildings make a good contrasting scene with taller, modern office buildings surrounding.
It has beautiful scenery all year round and was awarded the Best Street to Walk in Korea in 2006.

Finally, the Seoul Museum of Arts.

I was so damn tired from the shopping before, so we ran straight up to the cafe on the 3rd floor for a good rest(for me) and antihypnotic coffee for Dolseok.

Nice view from the window seats.

and... finally the exhibition.
